NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEXRAD AND FAA TERMINAL DOPPLER RADAR
HAVE IDENTIFIED A SIGNATURE TYPICAL OF WATERSPOUT FORMATION. NO
CONFIRMATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED BUT MARINERS SHOULD BE ON THE LOOK
OUT FOR WATERSPOUTS FORMING OFF THE COAST OF RIO GRANDE AND
LUQUILLO AND NORTHERN FAJARDO IN THE SHOWERS THAT MOVED OFF THE
COAST AROUND NOON AST. MONITOR NOAA WEATHER RADIO FOR THE LATEST
INFORMATION...FORECASTS...AND WARNINGS. WATERSPOUTS WOULD BE
EXPECTED TO FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
