SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING OVER PORTIONS OF SOUTH
CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST NEW MEXICO. THE SHOWERS AND STORMS ARE
NEARLY STATIONARY...PRODUCING MODERATE TO OCCASIONALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL. RAIN RATES OF UP TO ONE AND HALF INCHES PER HOUR ARE
POSSIBLE FROM THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. EXCESS RUNOFF FROM
THE RAIN COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING ALONG DRAINAGES...SMALL
STREAMS...ARROYOS AND LOW WATER CROSSINGS. ADDITIONAL RAIN SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THE DAY.
