AT 1OO AM MST SNOW CONTINUES TO FALL ACROSS HIGHER ELEVATIONS
OF THE REGION. WEB-CAMS ARE CURRENTLY SHOWING LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS
IN SILVER CITY...NEW MEXICO...THE GILA WILDERNESS AND
CLOUDCROFT...NEW MEXICO. THESE SNOW SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO TRACK
NORTHEAST THROUGH THE AREA THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS AND
INTO SATURDAY. A WINTER STORM WARNING IS CURRENTLY IN EFFECT FOR
AREAS ABOVE 6000 FEET WHERE SEVEN TO FOURTEEN INCHES OF SNOW IS
EXPECTED THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN
EFFECT FOR AREAS 5000 FEET WHERE TWO TO FOUR INCHES OF SNOW IS
EXPECTED.

IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS RAIN SHOWERS ARE Occurring WITH THE MOST
ACTIVITY CURRENTLY LOCATED NEAR LAS CRUCES...NEW MEXICO. THESE
SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO CONTINUE ON AND OFF FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL
HOURS.
