...CENTRAL INTERIOR SNOWFALL TOTALS...

THE FIRST MEASURABLE SNOWFALL SINCE LATE OCTOBER BLANKETED THE
CENTRAL INTERIOR MONDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN THE
FAIRBANKS AREA RANGED FROM 2 TO 5 INCHES WITH THE HIGHEST AMOUNTS
EAST OF TOWN.

THE NEW SNOW BROUGHT A LITTLE BIT OF RELIEF TO THE CURRENT SNOW
DROUGHT IN THE INTERIOR...BUT SNOWFALL IS STILL WELL BELOW NORMAL
ACROSS THE REGION. THE FAIRBANKS AIRPORT HAS RECEIVED 8.6 INCHES
OF SNOW SO FAR THIS SEASON. THE NORMAL AMOUNT OF SNOW FOR THE
AIRPORT THROUGH NOVEMBER 25TH IS 23.7 INCHES.

ANOTHER WEATHER SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE CENTRAL
INTERIOR THIS WEEKEND AND THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF MORE SNOW
IN THE FAIRBANKS AREA.

NORTH POLE............................4.0 INCHES
CLEAR SKY LODGE.......................3.6 INCHES
COLLEGE HILLS.........................3.5 INCHES
GILMORE TRAIL.........................3.5 INCHES
KEYSTONE RIDGE (MURPHY DOME)..........3.5 INCHES
BIRCH HILL............................3.4 INCHES
GOLDSTREAM CREEK......................3.4 INCHES
