Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
815 PM CDT Wed Mar 22 2017

High pressure moved off to the east during the afternoon hours on
Wednesday, as clouds slowly worked into the area. High
temperatures were generally in the mid 30s to lower 40s.

Cloud cover will continue to increase tonight leading to much
warmer temperatures than last night, with lows in the mid 20s to
lower 30s. Rain chances will then work into the region on
Thursday, with highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s.

The rain will last through Friday and into the weekend, before
finally coming to an end on Sunday. Over an inch of rain is
possible for many locations, but some uncertainty exists on where
exactly the highest totals will be. Otherwise, expect a slightly
warmer day on Friday, with highs in the mid 40s in central
Wisconsin, to the mid 60s in southwest Wisconsin and northeast
Iowa.
