Weather Summary for Western and North Central Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
958 AM CDT Wed Sep 20 2017 /858 AM MDT Wed Sep 20 2017/

Last night, a strong cold front pushed through the area bringing
strong winds out of the northwest. Gusty winds ranging from 40 to
55 miles per hour were observed along the frontal boundary. The
passage of the cold front allowed temperatures to cool into the
upper 30s and 40s across the area. The coldest temperatures were
found in southwest Nebraska.

Today, winds will shift from the northwest to the southwest,
allowing temperatures following the cold front to get back to
normal levels. Partly cloudy skies this morning will give way to
mostly sunny skies throughout the day.
