THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE PANHANDLE AND FAR SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA
YESTERDAY EVENING DISSIPATED ALONG THE HIGHWAY 83
CORRIDOR...LEAVING LITTLE RAIN FOR AREAS TO THE EAST. PARTS OF
CHASE COUNTY REPORTED OVER ONE INCH OF RAIN ALONG WITH LARGE HAIL.
HUMID CONDITIONS STUCK AROUND OVERNIGHT WITH LIGHT SOUTHEAST
WINDS...WHICH ALLOWED PATCHY FOG TO DEVELOP IN THE PLATTE RIVER
VALLEY THIS MORNING. VISIBILITY WAS REDUCED TO UNDER ONE MILE IN
SPOTS. LOWS STAYED GENERALLY IN THE MID TO UPPER 50S ACROSS THE
AREA.

ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE TODAY...AND SOME MAY BE
STRONG OR SEVERE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE PRIMARY THREATS ARE
LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS...ALTHOUGH LOCALIZED VERY HEAVY RAIN
IS ALSO POSSIBLE. HIGHS WILL BE NEAR NORMAL...MID TO UPPER
70S...WITH SOUTH WINDS AROUND 10 MILES PER HOUR.
