Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa

As an upper level weather system moves across the plains this
afternoon and this evening...showers and thunderstorms can be
expected.  Severe weather is possible with large hail, damaging
winds and even a tornado is possible.  The greatest risk for severe
weather is across eastern and southern Nebraska, as well as much of
Kansas.

High temperatures this afternoon will be in the 70s and 80s across
much of the region.  Low temperatures tonight will be in the 50s and
60s, except for some readings in the 40s across the Nebraska
panhandle and western South Dakota.
