...HEAVY RAIN AND LOCALIZED FLOODING POSSIBLE TODAY...

A POTENT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVING NORTHWARD ACROSS THE REGION
TODAY WILL BRING WIDESPREAD RAINFALL AND THUNDERSTORMS. HEAVY RAIN
IS POSSIBLE FOR SOME AREAS...ESPECIALLY THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
OVER EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA. LOCALIZED FLOODING IS
POSSIBLE FROM ANY STRONGER STORMS THAT PRODUCE HEAVY DOWNPOURS.
PORTIONS OF CENTRAL AND EASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA...AS WELL AS WEST
CENTRAL MINNESOTA HAVE RECEIVED SEVERAL INCHES OF RAINFALL OVER
THE PAST WEEK AND ARE MORE PRONE TO FLOODING THROUGH THIS EVENING.
