Surf along north facing shores will be 30 to 40 feet tonight,
lowering to 20 to 30 feet Thursday.

Surf along west facing shores will be 20 to 30 feet tonight,
dropping to 15 to 20 feet Thursday.

Surf along east facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet tonight.

Surf along south facing shores will be 2 feet or less through

Outlook through Wednesday December 20:
The current north northwest swell will slowly subside through
Saturday. Strengthening northeast winds will cause rough surf on east
facing shores Thursday night into the weekend. A moderate northwest
swell may arrive late in the weekend and continue into Monday, but
should remain below advisory level. No other significant swells are

Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The
surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average
height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest
breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the
significant wave height. Expect to encounter rip currents in or near
any surf zone.
