AN UNSEASONABLY WARM AND VERY MOIST AIR MASS WILL LINGER OVER THE
SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS THIS WEEK...WITH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING EACH DAY...ESPECIALLY DURING THE AFTERNOON
AND EVENING HOURS. THERE MAY EVEN BE AN ENHANCEMENT OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTHERN SECTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA...
TUESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY AS A COOL FRONT TRIES TO WORK IT`S WAY INTO
THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIAN REGION. TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN ABOVE
NORMAL THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.
