Surf along west facing shores will be 4 to 7 feet through Tuesday. Surf along east facing shores will be 2 to 4 feet today, lowering 1 to 3 feet Tuesday. Surf along south facing shores will be 1 to 3 feet through Tuesday. Outlook through Monday December 25: Advisory-level surf is possible along north facing shores Tuesday night through midweek as a north swell fills in. A north-northwest swell is possible over the weekend that will lead to rising surf along north and west facing shores, likely exceeding advisory levels for northern shores. Surf heights are forecast heights of the face, or front, of waves. The surf forecast is based on the significant wave height, the average height of the one third largest waves, at the locations of the largest breakers. Some waves may be more than twice as high as the significant wave height.
