THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS...
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

HEAT INDICES WILL RANGE FROM 100 TO 105 ACROSS THE AREA TODAY.
SEE THE LATEST HEAT ADVISORY FOR DETAILS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG A COLD FRONT LATE THIS
AFTERNOON IN CENTRAL KANSAS...THEN SLOWLY MOVE SOUTH TONIGHT.
SEVERAL STRONG STORMS ARE LIKELY...ALONG WITH A FEW SEVERE STORMS.
THE PRIMARY THREAT WILL BE 60 TO 70 MPH WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY
RAIN. UP TO ONE INCH HAIL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. THE SEVERE
STORMS ARE MOST LIKELY NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM EUREKA TO HARPER.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

STORMS WILL PERSIST INTO WEDNESDAY...WITH STRONG STORMS SOUTH OF
A LINE FROM EUREKA TO KINGMAN. SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE NEAR
THE OKLAHOMA BORDER IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS. ONE INCH HAIL AND 70 MPH
WINDS WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREATS.

THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO IN THE FORECAST THURSDAY AND THURSDAY
NIGHT OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...AND OVER CENTRAL
KANSAS ON MONDAY. STRONG STORMS ARE POSSIBLE.
