THE SKY WAS MOSTLY SUNNY ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS
THIS AFTERNOON WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 30S OR LOWER
40S.

ARCTIC AIR WAS POISED OVER THE NORTHERN PLAINS AND WILL BEGIN
TO AFFECT NORTHERN PORTIONS OF MID-AMERICA LATE TONIGHT AND
MONDAY. THE ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL CONTINUE TO DROP SOUTH
TONIGHT FROM IOWA AND NEBRASKA...INTO MISSOURI AND KANSAS ON
MONDAY. BITTER COLD AIR AND LOW WIND CHILLS WILL OVERSPREAD
AREAS TO THE NORTH OF THE FRONT ON MONDAY. SOME LIGHT SNOW OR
FLURRIES MAY ALSO ACCOMPANY THE COLDER AIR...WITH SOME LIGHT
ACCUMULATIONS LIKELY IN WESTERN NEBRASKA AND NORTHWEST KANSAS.
TEMPERATURES WILL REMAIN SEASONABLY COOL FOR ONE MORE DAY ON
MONDAY FOR SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE HEARTLAND.

LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE TEENS AND 20S
EXCEPT FOR COLDER SINGLE DIGITS ACROSS FAR WESTERN NEBRASKA.
HIGHS ON MONDAY WILL RANGE FROM THE TEENS AND 20S FROM IOWA
AND NEBRASKA...INTO NORTHERN AND WESTERN KANSAS...WITH 30S AND
40S OVER THE REST OF THE REGION.
