...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT TUESDAY FOR
SOUTHEASTERN ASHLAND COUNTY...

At 738 AM CDT, Ashland County Sheriff and local officials report
that flooding continued in and around Glidden, and the towns of
Jacobs, Peeksville, Gordon, and Agenda. Several roads remain closed
and high water continued to affect many more.

Flood waters continue to recede slightly in some areas. The East
Fork of the Chippewa River near Glidden has continued to slowly
recede and was several inches below the bridge deck at County Road N
east of Glidden. High water has receded beyond the shoulder on
Wisconsin Highway 13 in Glidden.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Glidden, and the towns of Jacobs, Peeksville, Gordon, and Agenda.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
