The National Weather Service in League City has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Southern Montgomery County in southeastern Texas...
  Central Harris County in southeastern Texas...
  Central Fort Bend County in southeastern Texas...

* Until 515 AM CST.

* At 414 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen in the stronger storms.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Sugar Land, northern Missouri City, eastern Rosenberg, Stafford,
  Bellaire, Humble, West University Place, Richmond, Jersey Village,
  Hunters Creek Village, Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village,
  Spring Valley, Greater Fifth Ward, First Colony, Spring Branch
  West, Neartown / Montrose, Second Ward, Near Northside Houston and
  Greenway / Upper Kirby Area.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible over the area. This
additional rain will make minor flooding.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

A Flood Advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
