The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has extended the

* Flood Warning for...
  Midland County in southeastern Michigan...

* Until 900 AM EDT Saturday

* At 822 PM EDT, emergency management reported continued flooding
  across much of Midland County. Conditions have been slow to
  improve today, especially in areas near smaller creeks and
  streams. It is expected that runoff will continue to recede in
  these areas as flooding concerns shift into larger river systems

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Midland, Coleman, Sanford, Edenville, Oil City, Pleasant Valley,
  Hope, Poseyville, Laporte, Averill, Gordonville, Bombay, Porter
  Township and North Bradley.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
