...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Indiana...

  White River at Spencer

.Extensive flooding may develop at Spencer along the White
River in central Indiana. Though the river forecast is remaining
fairly steady for Spencer, it is flirting with the moderate flood
stage category. As a result the crest will likely either come in
slightly above or slightly below the 20-foot level, arriving by
Monday evening.

At 20 feet, Hyden Road, Fifth Avenue, and the west side of Cooper
Street in southern Spencer begin to flood.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river

The Flood Warning continues for
 The White River at Spencer.
* until further notice.
* At 1:30 PM Sunday the stage was 18.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 20.4 feet by
  early Tuesday morning then begin falling.
* With water levels near 20.0 feet...Hyden Road, Fifth Avenue, and
  west side of Cooper Street in southern Spencer begin to flood.
