...Corrected Discussion to Red Deer RAWS...

.DISCUSSION...

Used a combination of Red Deer RAWs and KANK due to elevation
differences between the burn site and KANK.  West winds will spread
into the site this afternoon with gusts to around 25 mph possible.
These winds will subside this evening with lighter winds overnight.
Winds on Tuesday will be lighter. Winds will increase again on
Wednesday ahead of the next storm system which will move across the
area on Thursday.  While its still to early to say how much
precipitation will fall across the area Thursday night, latest
trends suggest only light snowfall amounts if any.

.REST OF TODAY...

Sky/weather.........Mostly sunny(43 percent).
Max temperature.....55-60F.
Min humidity........20-25 percent.
Wind (20 ft)........West winds 10-15 mph with gusts to around 25
                    mph. Winds shifting to the northwest with
                    similar speeds after 1300.
Mixing height.......5500 ft agl.
Transport winds.....Northwest around 21 mph.
Smoke dispersal.....Poor until 1100. good after 1200.
Haines Index........2 or very low potential for large plume
                    dominated fire growth.
