west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

 Heat indices across the area will be in the lower to middle 90s
 this afternoon. Proper precautions should be taken to remain well
 hydrated and cool.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

 Well above normal temperatures and heat indices in the 90s will
 continue Sunday.

 Next chance for thunderstorms will begin Monday afternoon and
 increase Tuesday. Severe weather is not anticipated at this time
 but periods of heavy rain are possible.
