This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Expect heat indices on Thursday to reach the 105 to 110 across the
entire region this afternoon. A few areas in northern Missouri could
see heat indices reach as high as 115 north of HWY 36.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

 Heat indices will remain in the 105 to 110 range each afternoon
through Saturday evening. Overnight lows each night will only drop to
between 75 and 80 degrees.

Next chance for thunderstorms comes Sunday. Severe weather is not
expected at this time. The storms and subsequent frontal passage
should mark the end of the current heat wave, ushering in more
comfortable temperatures for early next week.
