Showers and storms are beginning to develop across the Panhandles
region. There is also a line of heavier storms making their way
eastward from eastern New Mexico. Heavy downpours with localized
ponding on roadways and lightning will be the main threat with
these storms. However, across the northwestern Panhandles, gusty
winds and small hail may also accompany the more heavier
thunderstorms in New Mexico working their way east over the next
few hours.
