Hydrologic Statement
National Weather Service Pocatello ID
301 PM MDT MON MAR 27 2017

...High river flows expected to continue on the Snake River at
Blackfoot...
...The Magic Reservoir is expected to have some water topping the
dam...

The Snake River at Blackfoot is expected to remain near bankfull
through the foreseeable future despite cooler temperatures expected
Monday and Tuesday. Rain is expected again tonight and Monday with
additional storms possible later in the week. Please keep children
and pets away from area rivers as they can be easily swept into the
deadly cold waters.

For the Magic Reservoir, significant inflows of water will result
in some water topping the dam and flowing into the spillway over the
next couple of days. Flooding is not expected at this time.
However, this will be cold water and bring risks for any children
that might be in the area.
