A cold front will swiftly move through the region from west to east
today. Ahead of the cold front, breezy southerly winds and above
normal temperatures in the 60s are expected. Behind the front, winds
shift to the west while remaining breezy especially in eastern North
Dakota. Highs behind the front will likely reach the mid to upper

Rain showers are expected to slowly move through
central and eastern North Dakota through the afternoon with light
rain showers possible across north western Minnesota later today.
Rainfall amounts are expected to be generally light, under a few
tenths of an inch from around Bemidji to east of Fergus Falls and
under a tenth near the Devils Lake area. Rain chances end early this
evening with overnight lows into the 30s.
