SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVED ACROSS PORTIONS OF
NORTHEAST KANSAS AND NORTHWEST KANSAS OVERNIGHT...AS A WARM FRONTAL
BOUNDARY REMAINED STATIONARY OVER NORTHERN KANSAS. SOME PATCHY DENSE
FOG WAS ALSO LOCATED OVER CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHERN NEBRASKA. THE
REST OF THE REGION SAW PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES. EARLY MORNING
TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE MIDDLE 50S IN SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA TO THE
LOWER 70S ACROSS KANSAS.

THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER MUCH OF
KANSAS...NEBRASKA AND OKLAHOMA THIS AFTERNOON AS A LOW PRESSURE AREA
DEEPENS OVER SOUTHERN KANSAS. THIS LOW PRESSURE AREA AND TRIALING
COLD FRONT WILL LEAD TO A CHANCE OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS OVER
KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA. THE REST OF THE REGION WILL SEE PARTLY CLOUDY
SKIES. HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY ACROSS THE SOUTHERN AND EASTERN HALF
OF THE PLAINS WILL CONTINUE TO BE UNSEASONABLY WARM...WITH HIGHS
EXPECTED TO BE IN THE MIDDLE  80S IN WESTERN MISSOURI AND OKLAHOMA.
TEMPERATURES WEST OF THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL BE IN THE MIDDLE 70S
FOR NORTHWEST KANSAS.

THE CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
PORTIONS OF KANSAS AND NORTHERN MISSOURI TONIGHT...AS THE LOW
PRESSURE AREA MOVES ACROSS CENTRAL KANSAS INTO NORTHEAST KANSAS. THE
REST OF THE REGION WILL SEE CLOUDY SKIES. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT
WILL RANGE FROM THE MIDDLE 40S IN NORTHWEST KANSAS TO THE LOWER 70S
IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.
