Skies were either cloudy or clouds were on the increase through
the afternoon over Eastern Kansas. Late afternoon temperatures
ranged from the mid 50s along the Nebraska border, to the mid 70s
where sunshine was more prevalent. A front extended from the
northeast corner of Kansas, to a low in far Western Oklahoma.
Winds were southeast at 15 to 25 mph and gusty to the south of the
front, and north at 20 to 30 mph and gusty north of the front.

The low will continue to move northeast through Saturday, reaching
Central Missouri late tomorrow afternoon. This will spread a
chance of showers and thunderstorms across the Central Plains both
tonight and tomorrow.

Forecast lows range from the mid 20s in western Nebraska, to the
lower 60s in Eastern Arkansas. Forecast highs range from the
lower 40s in the Northern Iowa, to the mid 70s in southern
Arkansas.
