Weather Summary for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
606 PM CDT Sat Oct 21 2017

Showers, and a few thunderstorms, are expected to develop late
tonight ahead of a cold front. As this front moves into the Mid-
South early Sunday morning, a line of showers and thunderstorms
will march eastward across the region. A few strong storms are
possible, but organized severe weather is not anticipated.
However, widespread rainfall in excess of 1 inch is expected
across the Mid-South.

Showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast through Monday as
the upper-level system moves slowly across the area. Cool and
dry conditions are forecast Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect highs
generally in the 60s. Overnight lows will be in the 40s most
mornings, but a frost is possible in some areas Wednesday morning
as temperatures dip into the mid 30s.
