High pressure over the Carolinas this morning tracks rapidly east
over the Atlantic tonight into Tuesday. A cold front passed on
Wednesday followed by another large area of high pressure.

Temperatures this afternoon warm into the upper 40s with a
moderate breezy from the west. With the high offshore on Tuesday,
winds back to southwest bringing relatively mild weather to the
region. Highs on Tuesday are forecast well into the 50s.

Rain is likely, especially east of NY City, after midnight
Tuesday night into Wednesday morning as a cold front approaches
the region.
