CLOUDS WILL SLOWLY DIMINISH TONIGHT AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS INTO THE
AREA. THERE MAY BE A PASSING SPRINKLE OR BRIEF VERY LIGHT
RAIN...MAINLY ACROSS LONG ISLAND AND NEW YORK CITY EARLY TONIGHT. A
NORTHWESTERLY FLOW WILL BRING IN COLDER TEMPERATURES...BUT THEY WILL
STILL BE ABOVE NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR...RANGING FROM THE UPPER
20S IN THE OUTLYING AREAS TO THE UPPER 30S IN THE NYC METRO AREA.

THE DRY CONDITIONS WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK AS
HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO BUILD IN. TEMPERATURES WILL BE ON A
COOLING TREND THROUGH THE PERIOD WITH BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES BY
TUESDAY. HIGHS ON MONDAY WILL BE IN THE LOWER TO UPPER 40S...WITH
30S REGION-WIDE EXPECTED BY TUESDAY.
