...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT MITCHELL AND FLOYD
COUNTIES...

AT 704 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM LYLE TO 6 MILES NORTHWEST OF CLEAR LAKE.
MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 25 MPH.

MULTIPLE FUNNEL CLOUDS HAVE BEEN REPORTED WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS
ACROSS NORTHERN IOWA, WITH EVEN A COUPLE BRIEF TOUCHDOWNS. THE LOCAL
ENVIRONMENT WILL BE FAVORABLE FOR FUNNEL CLOUDS OVER THE NEXT HOUR
ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST IOWA. WHILE THESE FUNNELS RARELY TOUCH
THE GROUND, BE PREPARED TO TAKE COVER IF YOU SEE ONE APPROACH YOUR
AREA. BRIEF HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH ARE
POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.
