...A DANGEROUS SNOW SQUALL WILL AFFECT LUCE...NORTHERN SCHOOLCRAFT
AND NORTHEASTERN ALGER COUNTIES...

At 636 PM EST, a dangerous snow squall was located along a line
extending from 31 miles north of Muskallonge State Park to near Grand
Marais to near Steuben. Movement was east at 50 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this dangerous squall.

Locations impacted include...
Newberry, Grand Marais, McMillan, Germfask, Seney, Manistique Lake,
M-28 between Shingleton and Seney, Muskallonge State Park, Grand
Sable Dunes, Cusino Lake, Au Sable Point, Pine Stump Junction,
Helmer, Deer Park, Soo Junction, Four Mile Corner, Snyder Lake,
Dollarville, Betsy Lake and Nawakwa Lake.

Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a quarter of a mile in
this dangerous squall that will last 15 to 20 minutes. Expect a
quick 1 to 2 inches of snow and blowing snow.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this dangerous
snow squall. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.
