...High Risk of Rip Currents Today...

Rip Current Risk:      High risk. Life threatening rip currents are
                       likely in the surf zone. A high risk of rip
                       currents means that surf zone conditions are
                       dangerous for all swimmers.

Lightning Risk:       None.

Ultraviolet Index:     High. Wear a wide-brimmed hat and sunglasses,
                       and use sunscreen of SPF 15 or higher. Seek
                       shade during the midday hours of 10 am to 4 pm.

Weather:               Partly sunny and breezy.

Temperatures:          Middle 70s.

Wind:                  North 25 to 30 mph.

Wave Heights:          5 to 7 feet.

Surf Temperature:      83 degrees.

Bay Temperature:       83 degrees.

Tides:                 A minor low at 7 46 am. A minor high at 12 53 am.
                       A low at 7 38 pm.

Outlook:               An elevated risk for rip currents may be possible
                       through the remainder of the week and through the
                       upcoming weekend. The temperatures will gradually
                       warm into the latter half of the workweek and for
                       the weekend as well. Expect the return of showers
                       and thunderstorms to the forecast starting during
                       the late night hours on Wednesday.
