...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT SATURDAY...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Illinois and east central Illinois.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Afternoon heat index values will reach 100 to 108 today.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible late this afternoon and
tonight. Thunderstorm coverage will not be great, many locations
will stay dry, but there is the potential for a few storms to be
severe with damaging wind gusts and hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...

Hot and humid conditions will prevail through Saturday. Afternoon
heat index values will peak from 101 to 108 degrees each day.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon through
Friday night and again Saturday into Saturday night. There is the
potential for strong storms Friday night, with severe storms
possible Saturday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Limited spotter activation may be needed late this afternoon and
evening.

Hot and humid conditions will prevail through Saturday. Afternoon
heat index values will peak from 105 to 111 degrees each day.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and again
Saturday into Saturday night. There is the potential for some of
the storms to produce severe weather Saturday.
