SURVEY SUMMARY: The tornado began along Wagonseller Road about 5
miles southwest of Green Valley at 12:00 am in far southwest
Tazewell County, traveling to the northeast at 65 mph. The tornado
caused minor EF-0 damage to some outbuildings and trees initially,
before increasing strength.

The tornado widened to around 150 yards across and increased in
intensity to EF-1 as it destroyed an outbuilding and a historic
single room schoolhouse about 4 miles southwest of Green Valley.
It continued moving to the northeast through mainly open fields,
but did producing EF-1 damage to 2 grain bins. The tornado
produced more EF-1 damage to a barn and nearby trees along
Towerline Road. The tornado weakened to EF-0 and damaging trees
along Morris Mill Road, before dissipating about 3 miles east-
northeast of Green Valley at 12:06 am.

SURVEY SUMMARY: The tornado began in an open field about 1.4
miles north-northeast of Delavan at 12:09 am in south-central
Tazewell County, traveling to the northeast at 65 mph. The tornado
widened to 200 yards and caused EF-2 damage to one outbuilding
and EF-1 damage to several other outbuildings and trees, tossing
much of the damaged material for a mile in a debris path to the
northeast.

The tornado continued northeast and did EF-1 damage to more
outbuildings and 4 grain bins, tossing that debris for a half mile
to the northeast. The tornado produced EF-1 damage to more trees
along Toboggan Ave before dissipating in an open field 4.1 miles
northeast of Delavan at 12:13 am.

following categories.

EF0...Weak......65 to 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 to 165 mph

EF5...Violent...>200 mph
