.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT...The major active trough axis
mentioned in previous discussions moved across the islands and
will remain there through the weekend. A broad area of high
pressure to the south will continue to migrate eastward as it
holds the aforementioned trough axis through the new week. This
northwest-southeast oriented trough axis will continue to
transport numerous to occasional showers...heavy at times with
embedded thunderstorms. The trough is expected to remain nearly
stationary through Sunday. Therefore...expect flash flood
conditions met for the rest of the short term period.

.Long term...
SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...Gentle to moderate easterlies will push
the trough axis back to the south Monday, as the high pressure to
the south continues to move eastward. Another developing surface
trough to the north will descend over the area on Wednesday.
Expect isolated to scattered showers and gentle to moderate
easterlies to prevail throughout the long term period.


Combined seas still remain below advisory levels through the
weekend. A set of 7 to 9 feet southerly swells will arrive shores
on Saturday. Expect an uptick in surfs and sea heights in the new
