THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED A

* ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN SAN MIGUEL COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 245 PM MDT

* AT 1249 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN DUE TO THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR GASCON SOUTHEASTWARD
  TOWARD LAS VEGAS. RAINFALL AMOUNTS NEAR ONE INCH HAVE ALREADY
  FALLEN...AND AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES ARE POSSIBLE. THE
  STORMS PRODUCING THE HEAVY RAINFALL WERE MOVING VERY LITTLE.
  PONDING WATER IS LIKELY ALONG HIGHWAY 68 AND GALLINAS CREEK MAY BE
  RUNNING HIGH.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  LAS VEGAS...MONTEZUMA...SAPELLO...EL PORVENIR...TIERRA MONTE...
  STORRIE LAKE STATE PARK...GALLINAS...MANUELITAS AND ROCIADA.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 25 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 342 AND 353.

OTHER LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE E.V. LONG CAMPGROUND AND EL PORVENIR
CAMPGROUND.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS MAY RESULT IN
FLOODING OF ROAD INTERSECTIONS AND LOW-LYING
AREAS.  WATERS MAY BEGIN TO RUN IN NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS.
