The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for Poor Drainage Areas
  Northeastern Randall County in the Panhandle of Texas...
  Southeastern Potter County in the Panhandle of Texas...

* Until 1015 PM CDT

* At 907 PM CDT, radar estimates and gauge reports indicated about a
  half inch to an inch of rain has fallen over mainly the northern
  parts of Amarillo. In typical poor drainage areas standing water
  on roadways will be possible.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
