* AT 1226 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA. DOPPLER
  RADAR ESTIMATED BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN FROM
  NEAR TARKIO TO BETWEEN GRANT CITY AND ALBANY SINCE 11 PM.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
  OCCUR...ESPECIALLY ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND NEAR LOW WATER
  CROSSINGS. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE MINOR FLOODING
  INCLUDE...ALBANY...BETHANY...MARYVILLE...MOUND CITY...SAVANNAH...
  STANBERRY...BURLINGTON JUNCTION...CRAIG...EAGLEVILLE...FAIRFAX...
  FILLMORE...FOREST CITY...GILMAN CITY...GRANT CITY...JAMESPORT...
  KING CITY...MAITLAND...NEW HAMPTON...OREGON...PATTONSBURG...
  RAVENWOOD...RIDGEWAY...ROCKPORT...SKIDMORE AND UNION STAR.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

AN ADDITIONAL INCH OF RAINFALL IS EXPECTED IN THOSE AREAS CURRENTLY
RECEIVING RAINFALL AND UP TO TWO INCHES IN THOSE AREAS WHERE IT HAS
YET TO RAIN WITHIN THE ADVISORY AREA.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. DO NOT
DRIVE THROUGH AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
