...The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a flood
warning for the following rivers in North Dakota...

  Souris River near Towner affecting McHenry County
For the Souris River Basin including Towner...Minor flooding is
occurring...With Moderate flooding forecast.

. Increase in flows from Lake Darling releases and additional
snowmelt runoff from the local areas below Lake Darling is
reaching the Towner area. There is still a good amount of ice
in the reach, which adds uncertainty to the timing of the flow
as it moves further downstream. Ice jams may form as ice breaks
up and moves through the system.

The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  The Souris River near Towner
* Until further notice
* At 11AM Saturday the stage was...1456 feet
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast
* Flood stage is 1454 feet
* The river rose above flood stage  and will continue rising to near
  1456 feet by Friday morning. Additional rises may be possible
* Impact...At 1456 feet...Moderate flood stage. Flood problems begin
  with agricultural land and meadows affected.
