Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR The Florida Keys
National Weather Service Key West FL
615 AM EDT Mon Aug 21 2017

.Discussion...In the wake of the tropical wave, there is abundant
dry air moving over the area. The Atlantic ridge will strengthen
as it merges with a continental high pressure moving across the
Ohio Valley, and combines with the remnants of Harvey moving
through the Caribbean. Winds will increase through today, then
gradually decrease overnight as the low over the Caribbean crosses
Central America. We return to light low level winds and deep
layer moisture by Tuesday evening with more typical middle of the
road chance of showers and slight chance of thunderstorms through
the weekend.
