This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of west central

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Critical fire weather conditions will continue through the
afternoon, as gusty winds and very low humidities combine.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Elevated fire weather conditions will be possible on Saturday
afternoon, with dry conditions continuing. Strong winds will be
likely again on Sunday and with the air mass remaining very dry,
critical fire weather conditions will again be likely.

A strong upper level storm system will approach the Southern
Plains for the middle of next week, with thunderstorms becoming
more widespread for Tuesday and Wednesday. These storms could
approach severe levels as they move across West Central Texas.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
