CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHWEST 5 TO 10 MPH THROUGH THE GULF WATERS OF
SOUTH FLORIDA THROUGH EARLY THIS MORNING. A FEW OF THE SHOWERS OR
ANY THUNDERSTORMS COULD MOVE ONSHORE INTO THE METRO AREAS OF
COLLIER COUNTY. ANY STORMS THAT DO MOVE ONSHORE WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING LIGHTNING STRIKES, GUSTY WINDS UP TO 30 MPH, AND LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL. IF YOU SEE LIGHTNING OR HEAR THUNDER MOVE INSIDE

NORTHWEST AROUND 5 MPH OVER THE ATLANTIC WATERS OF SOUTH FLORIDA.
A FEW OF THE SHOWERS COULD EVEN WORK INTO THE EAST COAST METRO
AREAS OF SOUTH FLORIDA BEFORE DISSIPATING. ANY SHOWERS THAT DO
MOVE ONSHORE WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO
TENTH OF AN INCH. MARINERS CAN ALSO EXPECT HIGHER SEAS IN AND NEAR
THE SHOWERS.
