SHOWERS DEVELOPED ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHERN MINNESOTA INTO PARTS OF
NORTHERN IOWA OVERNIGHT AND INTO THE MORNING HOURS SATURDAY.
CLOUDY SKIES PREVAILED WITH LIGHT WINDS...AND MORNING LOWS VARIED
FROM MIDDLE 60S TO NEAR 70 DEGREES.

FOR TODAY...PLAN ON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO INCREASE IN
COVERAGE THIS AFTERNOON...BECOMING WIDESPREAD BY LATE AFTERNOON
INTO THE EVENING HOURS. SOME OF THE STORMS ACROSS NORTHEAST IOWA
AND FAR SOUTHERN WISCONSIN COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE WITH DAMAGING
WINDS AND LOCALIZED FLOODING THE MAIN THREATS. HIGHS TODAY WILL BE
IN THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER 80S.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL LINGER INTO THE EVENING AND EARLY
OVERNIGHT HOURS BEFORE A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH. LOWS TONIGHT
WILL BE LOWER TO MIDDLE 60S. FOR SUNDAY...PLAN ON MOSTLY TO PARTLY
SUNNY SKIES WITH SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 70S TO LOWER
80S. LOOKING AHEAD...AN UNSEASONABLY COLD AND FALL LIKE AIR MASS
WILL SETTLE ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST NEXT WEEK. HIGHS WILL ONLY
REACH THE 60S TO 70 DEGREES...WITH LOWS IN THE 40S AND 50S.
