Widespread showers and thunderstorms were observed across the region
today. Many locations have received one half to 2 inches of rain.
High temperatures were mainly in the 70s.

Showers and storms will continue this evening before gradually
coming to an end overnight. A few of the storms may be strong, with
large hail and heavy rain being the main threats. Low temperatures
tonight are expected to be in the mid 50s to lower 60s.

Friday looks to be dry, with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s. This
weekend will be cool. High temperatures will struggle to reach 70
degrees both Saturday and Sunday. Chances for showers and afternoon
thunderstorms will also return this weekend.
