Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
1034 AM CST Fri Dec 15 2017

Cloudy skies and flurries were seen across the area overnight as
temperatures dipped into the teens to mid 20s.

Some light snow then moved through areas west of the Mississippi
River this morning, bringing a few tenths of an inch of
accumulation to a few spots. By late morning, the snow activity
had dissipated a bit, but had crossed the river into Wisconsin. It
is expected to end completely this afternoon. Otherwise, high
temperatures today will range from the upper teens in central
Wisconsin, to the lower 30s in southeast Minnesota, northeast
Iowa, and far southwest Wisconsin.

More snow chances will move through areas along and north of
Interstate 94 tonight, with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible
in some spots. Lows will generally be in the teens to mid 20s. The
snow is expected to come to an end for most areas by the early
afternoon hours on Saturday.
