AREA WEATHER OUTLOOK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE EASTERN ND/GRAND FORKS
1120 PM WED NOV 26 2014

COLD WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH YOUR LONG THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
WEEKEND...THE COLDEST DAYS WILL BE THANKSGIVING AND SUNDAY WITH A
COUPLE OF 20 DEGREE WARM DAYS SANDWICHED BETWEEN FOR FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY. UNFORTUNATELY A BAND OF ACCUMULATING SNOW WILL SHOOT
TOWARDS THE REGION DURING THANKSGIVING...MAKING DEVILS LAKE BY LATE
AFTERNOON AND POINTS EAST DURING THE EVENING. LOOK FOR A TWO TO FOUR
INCH DOSE BY FRIDAY MORNING...THE HIGHER AMOUNTS MORE LIKELY BUT NOT
CERTAIN TO BE TOWARD THE CANADIAN BORDER WITH THE LEAST FALLING
CLOSER TO SOUTH DAKOTA. ANOTHER ANOMALOUSLY COLD FRONT WILL THEN
PUSH THROUGH THE REGION ON SATURDAY ALONG WITH SOME LIGHT
SNOW...USHERING IN VERY COLD AIR ONCE AGAIN. WARMER WEATHER IS IN
THE FORECAST BY NEXT TUESDAY.
