JUST A FEW HIGH CLOUDS STREAMED OVER THE AREA FROM THE NORTHWEST
DURING THE OVERNIGHT AND EARLY MORNING HOURS. WINDS WERE VARIABLE
IN DIRECTION AT SPEEDS UNDER 10 MPH. 3 AM MST (4 AM CST) TEMPERATURES
WERE IN THE UPPER 20S TO MID 30S AND RANGE FROM 28 DEGREES IN YUMA
AND WRAY COLORADO TO 39 DEGREES IN FIRSTVIEW COLORADO.

OUTLOOK... A STRONG AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE NORTHERN
PLAINS WILL BUILD INTO THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT BRINGING
INCREASING CLOUDINESS AND COOLER TEMPERATURES. THERE WILL BE A
CHANCE FOR FREEZING FOG...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND FREEZING RAIN LATE
TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. ICE ACCUMULATIONS OF ONE TO TWO
HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH ARE POSSIBLE...MAINLY EAST OF A LINE FROM
BENKELMAN TO COLBY TO RUSSELL SPRINGS. THIS MAY CAUSE SOME SLICK
SPOTS ON AREA ROADWAYS AND OVERPASSES. QUIET WEATHER RETURNS
SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SUNDAY. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT NEAR
NORMAL. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY WILL VARY FROM THE LOW TO
MID 30S ACROSS THE EASTERN PART OF THE AREA TO THE MID 50S TO
AROUND 60 FOR PARTS OF FAR EASTERN COLORADO INTO THE TRIBUNE AREA.
WARMER TEMPERATURES RETURN ON SUNDAY WITH AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES
GENERALLY IN THE LOW TO MID 50S.
