Mostly sunny skies were observed this morning with increasing
cloudiness observed around midday. Thunderstorms formed in Gove,
Logan and Sheridan Counties and moved northward producing hail and
heavy rain. High temperatures were in the upper 70s to low 80s
this afternoon.

OUTLOOK... Thunderstorms will continue to move across the area
this afternoon. A few severe thunderstorms remain possible with
hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain being the primary risk.
Thunderstorm activity will wind down tonight with low temperatures
falling into the lower to middle 50s. Another round of
thunderstorms will impact the region during the late afternoon and
early evening hours on Memorial Day. Widespread severe weather is
not expected however we could see a few storms become locally
severe with hail, damaging winds, and isolated tornadoes.
Thunderstorms will persist into the late evening before tapering
off overnight. Lows will fall into the middle 50s. Tuesday and
Wednesday will be cooler with only a slight chance of
thunderstorms on Tuesday. Wednesday through Friday will be warm
and dry as high pressure moves into the region.
