Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Over the past 24 hours...the Tri State region has seen high
temperatures range from the mid 50s up to the mid of
low temperatures that dropped down into the upper 20s to the mid
30s. Showers and thunderstorms traversed the area as well giving a
range of rainfall...for those that received it...of a few tenths
of an inch to almost an inch in some locales.

OUTLOOK... Looking ahead...a winter storm is set to affect the
entire forecast area later tonight on through the entire weekend.
Wet and heavy snow will occur...along with strong winds on the
tail-end of the storm. Please refer to our latest products for
more information. No precipitation for Monday...but another quick
moving system will bring a round of light rain to the
area...followed by a warm up to near 80F by next Friday. Aain...
