SKIES WERE CLOUDY ACROSS THE TRI STATE REGION EARLY THIS
AFTERNOON. NORTHEAST WINDS WERE OBSERVED AT 10 TO 15 MPH. AT 1 PM
MDT (2 PM CDT) TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM 38 DEGREES IN YUMA
COLORADO TO 53 DEGREES IN GOVE KANSAS.

OUTLOOK... TEMPERATURES DROP INTO THE 30S TO LOW 40S TONIGHT AS
SKIES BECOME CLOUDY OVER THE HIGH PLAINS. CHANCES FOR RAIN AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS INCREASE THROUGHOUT THE EVENING AND MOVE
ACROSS THE REGION FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST OVERNIGHT. LIGHT
SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE LATE TONIGHT AND FRIDAY MORNING GENERALLY
WEST OF THE COLORADO BORDER WITH LITTLE ACCUMULATION EXPECTED.

COOLER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED ON FRIDAY...WITH HIGHS IN THE
UPPER 30S TO UPPER 40S UNDER CLOUDY SKIES. RAIN CONTINUES ACROSS
THE REGION THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND PERSISTS INTO FRIDAY NIGHT.
STARTING FRIDAY EVENING...LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE WEST OF A MCCOOK
NEBRASKA TO TRIBUNE KANSAS LINE. ONE TO THREE INCHES WILL BE
POSSIBLE...MAINLY ON ELEVATED AND GRASSY SURFACES. TEMPERATURES
DROP INTO THE 30S.
