Weather Summary for the Local Tri-State Region
National Weather Service New York NY
350 AM EST Wed Nov 22 2017

Rain this morning for much of the region will quickly end as a
cold front moves across the region from west to east. Rain will
end in the New York Metro by around 10 AM and eastern Long Island
by mid afternoon as skies start to clear. Winds will gust up to 25
mph late this afternoon as colder air moves into the region.

It turns much colder tonight under clear skies as the winds
gradually diminish. This will set the stage for a mainly sunny and
chilly Thanksgiving Day with highs only in the lower 40s, but
with only a light wind.
