VERY COLD AND DRY CONDITIONS ARE ON TAP TONIGHT AS ARCTIC AIR SURGES
INTO THE REGION ON A STRONG NORTHWEST FLOW. SKIES WILL CLEAR THIS
EVENING. TEMPERATURES WILL BE WELL BELOW NORMAL...RANGING FROM THE
SINGLE DIGITS INLAND...TO AROUND 10 AT THE COAST. WINDS WILL BE
VERY STRONG...WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 50 MPH. THIS WILL MAKE FOR
DANGEROUS WIND CHILL VALUES...ESPECIALLY INLAND...WHERE WIND CHILLS
VALUES OF 15 TO 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO ARE POSSIBLE. ALONG THE COAST
AND INTO NYC...WIND CHILL VALUES OF 10 DEGREES BELOW ZERO ARE
POSSIBLE.

THE COLD AND DRY CONDITIONS CONTINUE INTO SATURDAY...WITH HIGHS ONLY
IN THE TEENS AND LOWER 20S. IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE WINDY...ALLOWING
FOR SUB-ZERO WIND CHILLS IN THE MORNING...AND WIND CHILLS IN THE
SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE ZERO DURING THE AFTERNOON.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE WARMER ON SUNDAY...BUT WILL STILL BE SLIGHTLY
BELOW NORMAL. THE NEXT CHANCE FOR PRECIPITATION WILL BE SUNDAY NIGHT
AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. IT WILL BE COLD
ENOUGH FOR THE PRECIPITATION TO BE IN THE FORM OF SNOW.
