...PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW POSSIBLE TODAY...

Precipitation is expected to develop across far northwestern
Minnesota this morning. A brief period of freezing rain will be
possible this morning before snow develops by late morning. Far
northwest Minnesota will likely be a favorable area for a band of
snowfall. While most areas will likley see 1 to 2 inches, a band
of 3 to 5 inches is possible by late afternoon. Travelers are
advised to stay alert to road conditions today.
