AT 1249 AM EDT...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE INCREASING ACROSS
EASTERN STOKES AND WESTERN ROCKINGHAM COUNTIES FROM NEAR
LAWSONVILLE...TO PRESTONVILLE...TO MAYODAN...TO STONEVILLE...MOVING
EAST AT 30 MPH.

RAINFALL RATES UP TO 1 INCH PER HOUR WERE NOTED IN THIS ACTIVITY.
THE GROUND IN THIS REGION IS SATURATED FROM RECENT HEAVY RAINFALL.
ADDITIONAL RAINFALL COULD RESULT IN FLOODING. A FLOOD ADVISORY OR
WARNING MAY BE REQUIRED SOON IF RAINFALL PERSISTS ACROSS THE REGION.
