...Three tornadoes in central Indiana Sunday November 5...

.OVERVIEW...A strong weather system produced six tornadoes
across Indiana Sunday, three of which occurred in central
Indiana Sunday afternoon.

.TORNADO #1 Bedford Area Tornado...

SURVEY SUMMARY: Over a dozen structures had minor to moderate damage
with the worst damage being two destroyed mobile homes and a garage
being destroyed. Dozens of hardwood trees were either snapped off
or uprooted.

This survey represents a 39 mile tornado path which produced the heaviest
damage near Portland, Indiana in Jay County served by the NWS Northern
Indiana office which has further detail on the full path of the tornado.

This portion of the track above represents the start of the tornado path
in Eaton, Indiana in northwest Delaware County served by NWS
Indianapolis. The Delaware county portion revealed several buildings with
partial roof damage and numerous trees either snapped or uprooted.

Large bow echo on radar producing broad straight
line wind damage spun up this small brief tornado which
damaged the roof of several buildings and uprooted or
snapped several trees.
