THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBUQUERQUE HAS ISSUED AN

* ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  CENTRAL SANDOVAL COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO

* UNTIL 400 PM MDT

* AT 227 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  HEAVY RAIN FROM A NEARLY STATIONARY THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN
  SANDOVAL COUNTY. THIS STORM WAS PRODUCING RAIN AT A RATE OF ONE
  TO TWO INCHES AN HOUR. LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE SAN MIGUEL AND
  SAN PABLO.

* STRONG FLOWS AND HIGH WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED IN ARROYOS...SMALL
  STREAMS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS. RAPID RUNOFF CAN ALSO BE
  EXPECTED IMMEDIATELY OVER AND DOWNSTREAM FROM WILDFIRE BURN SCARS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

THE HEAVY RAINFALL AND SLOW MOVEMENT OF THESE STORMS MAY RESULT IN
FLOODING OF ROAD INTERSECTIONS AND LOW-LYING AREAS. WATERS MAY BEGIN
TO RUN IN NORMALLY DRY ARROYOS.
