...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in North
Carolina...
  Chicod Creek Near Simpson affecting Pitt County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive vehicles through flooded areas. Most flood deaths occur
in automobiles when people try to drive through flooded areas.

radio...media or cable TV.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Chicod Creek Near Simpson.
* until further notice.
* At  9 AM Tuesday the stage was 10.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 13.0 feet by this
  afternoon. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...Moderate flooding. Water will overflow the
  bridges on Mobleys Bridge Rd, Grimesland Bridge Rd, JC Galloway Rd,
  and Blackjack-Simpson Rd. Also, parts of Boyds Road will flood.
  Residents of Majettes Mobile Home Park may need to move property to
  higher ground.
