...The National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky has issued a
flood warning for the following rivers in Illinois...Kentucky...

  Ohio River at Grand Chain Dam affecting Massac...Pulaski...Ballard
  and McCracken Counties

.River levels are expected to rise on portions of the lower Ohio River
due to recent heavy rainfall and backwater from the Mississippi River.
Minor flooding is now expected to develop at Grand Chain Dam on Wednesday
and crest near 42.5 feet by Friday.



Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated

The National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Ohio River at Grand Chain Dam.
* from Wednesday afternoon to late Saturday night.
* At 10:00 AM Monday the stage was 41.3 feet.
* Flood Stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage Wednesday morning and
  continue to rise to near 42.5 feet by Friday. River levels are then
  expected to slowly fall through next weekend.
* Impact...At 42.0 Feet...This will cause minor flooding of mainly low
  lying areas.
