Flood Warning
National Weather Service Charleston WV
337 PM EDT FRI JUL 14 2017

Perry OH-
337 PM EDT FRI JUL 14 2017

The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has extended

* Flood Warning for...
Northwestern Perry County in southeastern Ohio...

* Until 945 PM EDT Friday

* At 333 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in in the
townships of Thorn, Madison and Hopewell. While these flood waters
were beginning to slowly recede, some roads were still flooded,
including state routes 204 and 668.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Somerset, Thornport, Harbor Hills, Thornville and Glenford.

* The threat for new rainfall has ended, as a cold front moves
through. High pressure will provide an opportunity to dry out over
the weekend, and the long term forecast calls for a continuation
of dry weather next week. A brief shower or thunderstorm is
possible this Sunday night, though, as another cold front crosses.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles. Heed high water and road closure signs.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
