This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central
Montana...south central Montana...southeast Montana and north
central Wyoming.

* Outlook: A period of wet and unsettled weather is expected
tonight through Friday, with the heaviest precipitation being
Thursday and Thursday night. Portions of the forecast area could
see 0.50 to 1.50 inches of rain, with the heavier amounts likely
over southern Big Horn county into Sheridan county. Snow is
expected to accumulate over area mountains. The snow could be
heavy at times over the Bighorns. Lower elevations could see
some wet snow Thursday night, with some accumulation possible
over the higher hills through early Friday.

* Potential Impacts: The combination of a wet ground, snow melt
from recent lower elevation snowfall and additional rainfall,
will likely cause rises on rivers and streams with some minor
flooding possible through Saturday. Also, look for significant
ponding of water in low lying areas and very muddy local roads,
making travel difficult. Heavy snow in the Bighorns will make for
very difficult travel and could cause power outages. Also, the
chilly and wet weather could be stressful on young livestock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
