Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Widely scattered showers, along with a few thunderstorms, developed
across Wisconsin and Minnesota today on the back side of an low
pressure system located north of the Great Lakes. A few of the
stronger storms brought small hail and gusty winds. The afternoon
highs ranged in the 60s to lower 70s.

A few showers may linger across northern Wisconsin tonight.
Otherwise there will be decreasing clouds south of I94 as
temperatures slip into the 40s.

The outlook for Tuesday, the chance of showers will return by the
afternoon, especially across southern Wisconsin into northern
Illinois. The afternoon highs will be mostly in the 60s, though 50s
across northern Wisconsin, and 70s into central Iowa.
