Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
1024 AM CDT Wed Jul 26 2017

Scattered showers and storms moved through areas north of
Interstate 90 during the overnight hours, with low temperatures in
the mid 60s to lower 70s.

Additional showers and storms continued during the morning hours,
but weakened as they moved through the area. A few in southeast
Minnesota and northeast Iowa were producing brief heavy rainfall
during the mid-morning. These showers and storms are expected to
continue for much of the day, with additional development possible
in northeast Iowa and far southwest Wisconsin by the afternoon
hours. A few of these storms could be strong and produce locally
heavy rainfall. Otherwise, high temperatures today will be in the
upper 70s to lower 80s.

The rain will move out of the area by Thursday morning and give
way to dry and quiet weather into the weekend. Highs will
generally be in the upper 70s to mid 80s, with lows in the mid 50s
to lower 60s.
